Samurai are often remembered for their strength, but in The Trials of Unity, the greatest
display of courage came in unexpected ways. One of these moments was when a
leader chose compassion over command, mercy over strict authority.

This choice wasn’t seen as weakness but as wisdom. The Book of Heaven reminds us:
“To know another’s heart is to know the path to peace.” True leaders understood that
hearts cannot be ruled by fear forever — only guided by trust and compassion.

In our own world, authority often feels like control. But lasting influence comes from
compassion. Whether as parents, mentors, or leaders in our communities, the courage
to show kindness often leaves the deepest mark.

Strength isn’t always about asserting power. Sometimes, the greatest strength is in
softening our approach and choosing understanding instead.
